For these applications, we offer various furnace types and custom-built equipment. The decision which furnace type is best suited for a certain application depends on the system and amount of substances, the required temperatures, the gas atmosphere and on the customer’s needs.

For small sample quantities in annealing boats, in particular tube furnaces of the LOBA, LORA and LK types have proved successful, whereas rotary tube furnaces are preferred for larger sample quantities and for modeling of technical processes.

Since the gas flow can best be defined in multi-zone LORA or LOBA tube furnaces, these furnace types are predominantly used for transport reactions. For thermochromatographical work, gradient tube furnaces with specialist heating windings are used.

Crystal growth

  • Crystal growth  from the gas phase, mostly in multi-zone tube furnaces; if the samples are contained in ampullas, crucible furnaces and glove box furnaces can also be used.
  • Crystal growth according to the Tammann-Stöber method and  Bridgeman method

Energy and environmental engineering

  • Heating jackets for SOFC stacks
