Split tube furnace LK

"LK" model laboratory split tube furnace up to 1300 °C for broad applications

The heating conductor space of this furnace model can be opened at any temperature along its longitudinal axis. For diameters up to 60 mm, the heated space can be formed by two ceramic half tubes. For bigger diameters, KANTHAL A1 heating spirals are embedded axially or radially into slots of half cylinders made of ceramic insulation material.
The split tube furnace has a low thermal capacity and is suited for rapid temperature changes.
Usually a working tube is used in this furnace model:

  • Wide range of diameters and lengths;
  • Can be operated horizontally and vertically;
  • Housing made of stainless steel punched sheet;
  • Spring locks;
  • Separate control unit;
  • Safety switch stops power when the furnace is opened;
  • Can be used as heating unit for complex systems.

Options

  • Multi zone design available;
  • Customized temperature profiles;
  • Its heated space can be adapted to reaction vessels;
