The LOSA furnace is equipped with a lab stand rod and was specifically designed for applications in chemical laboratories.
The heating system and the controller are jointly housed in an all-metal case. The working tube is closed at one end. A resistance heater made of "Kanthal A1" is coiled around the tube.
A high-quality PID controller providing functions for setting a set-point temperature, a ramp, and a dwell time, controls the temperature. It allows configuration of various shutdown conditions. The controller includes an automatic self-optimizing function.
