LOBA Type Furnace
The "work horse" among HTM's furnaces very versatile to suit applications up to 1200 °C
The heater support tube is made of ceramics (Al2O3) or quartz glass. Wound with a FeCrAl heating conductor, it is encased in an insulation jacket. The furnace housing is made of stainless steel. The interior of the heater support tube forms the usable space.

Tube furnace "LOBA/i" for temperatures up to 1350 °C
The special feature of the "LOBA/i" is that the heating wire made of KANTHAL A1 is fixed to the inner surface of the heater support tube by Al2O3 cement which also serves as thermal insulation. As with the standard "LOBA", its housing is made of stainless steel too. Usually, a separate working tube is inserted into the "LOBA/i" furnace.
- There is no insulating barrier between heating wire and the object to be heated;
- It is well suited for rapid processes and high continuous working temperatures.
